Kim Hutchinson is the compassionate and visionary founder of the 8 Points Foundation and SkinFuzion Medical Spa. With a deep-seated commitment to helping survivors of human trafficking, Kim has dedicated her career to providing life-changing support through advanced aesthetic treatments. Her journey into this field was profoundly influenced by her closest friend’s struggle with the aftermath of sexual abuse. Witnessing the enduring impact of such trauma ignited a sense of responsibility in Kim to combat the pervasive issue of human trafficking.
At SkinFuzion Medical Spa, established in 2007, Kim has been at the forefront of aesthetic innovation, specializing in a variety of treatments designed to enhance beauty and well-being. Through the 8 Points Foundation, she extends this expertise to support survivors, offering them a chance to remove physical reminders of their past and reclaim their sense of identity. Kim’s unwavering dedication to healing both the body and spirit of survivors embodies the compassionate mission of the 8 Points Foundation.
Cheryl Ipiales
Cheryl Ipiales is a dedicated Paramedical Tattoo Artist and the co-founder of the 8 Points Foundation and Skin Rehab Lab. Her passion for helping others reclaim their confidence and self-esteem stems from her own experiences overcoming trauma. After surviving a traumatic dog bite to her face and enduring the profound loss of her mother to breast cancer, Cheryl channeled her resilience into mastering innovative scar revision techniques.
At Skin Rehab Lab, established in 2020, Cheryl specializes in state-of-the-art scar reduction and camouflage treatments, including 3D areola artistry in honor of her mother. Her work is driven by a deep desire to heal both external and internal wounds, promoting holistic well-being and transformation. Through the 8 Points Foundation, Cheryl brings her expertise and empathy to the forefront, helping survivors of human trafficking erase the physical scars of their past and embark on a journey towards healing and renewal.
